Our Dentists

Dr. Sabrina Mandich believes strongly in patient-centered dental care. She strives diligently to retain a compatible dental team that has worked well together for over a decade. Her commitment is to serve your needs first and foremost, while she fosters a pleasant, positive work environment. Thus, everyone wins with Sabrina Mandich, D.D.S. & Associates.

Sabrina Mandich earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Gonzaga University and studied in Florence, Italy. She completed two years of postgraduate work, and then completed her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Washington in 1984, with additional training in Leeds, England.

Dr. Mandich is a board-certified dentist and a current member of these professional organizations: American Dental Association, Washington State Dental Association, and the Seattle-King County Dental Society. In addition to over twenty years of professional practice, she also served in the Army Reserve Dental Corps for ten years.

Dr. Lisa Stampalia is a board-certified dentist with a master’s degree in prosthodontics (specializing in the replacement of missing teeth, such as full and partial dentures, crowns, bridges and implants). Upon graduating from the University of Washington Dental school in 1979, Dr. Stampalia served as a Captain in the U.S. Public Health Service while completing her dental residency program. In 1984 she obtained a masters degree in prosthodontics from the University of Washington, followed by an internship for the dental care of the disabled. Her geriatrics fellowship was completed in 1991. Patients with special needs are pleasantly surprised to receive her level of care locally, rather than having to travel into the city or pay higher fees for similar specialists.

Drs Mandich and Stampalia have worked together since 1992. They represent a group of women who believe in continual education, technical advances, quality products used and performing procedures which are scientifically based and predictable. Office decor, comfort, sterilization procedures and ergonomics are in constant review.

A recent study in the Woman Dentist Journal (WJD, 2005) reports only 16% of practicing dentists are female. Seattle, the home of a great dental school, has many fabulous dentists. These two women practice in this Burien office.

What makes Dr. Sabrina Mandich & Associates different from other dentists for me is the personal touch, attention to details and painless procedures to keep dental work pain-free.
